Halal Practices and EU Standards

As a producer that manufactures and exports products to countries in different regions around the world, we enforce strict Halal and European (EU) Standards in our processes. Halal certification requires that our products and processes do not contain items or ingredients that are forbidden to Muslims by Islamic law, including the equipment and ingredients used in making the product. European Standards ensure that the product’s quality and safety meet required standards in order to be sold to European markets. We have been certified Halal by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) while our products are of EU Standard and exported to Europe.

Fresh Ingredients Everyday

Bringing you value also means bringing you products with the best ingredients. Every day, our fleet of fishing vessels head out to bring back fresh fish for our production.

We know where the ingredients are sourced from, and we select the parts that are good for eating; after all, nobody likes low quality parts. Rest assured that we use fresh fish, and not low quality meat substitutes.

With the help of advanced technology and experience, we are able to produce our products with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards. Our products are also compliant with the local Makanan Selamat Tanggungjawab Industri (MeSTI).

  • Good Manufacturing Practice
    Basic procedures and guidelines require that we clearly control and define our manufacturing process, including making records, evaluating changes to the process, and having in place a system for recalling any batch of product from sale or supply.
  • Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP)
    A systematic preventive approach to food safety in production processes. It requires that design measurements in Critical Control Points (steps in manufacturing at which food safety hazards can be prevented) are up to standard in avoiding contamination in food processing.
  • Makanan Selamat Tanggungjawab Industri (MeSTI)
    A food safety program organised by the Malaysian Ministry of Health to assist food entrepreneurs in fulfilling the requirements of the local Food Safety Act 2009. It requires strict safety standards in food processing in order to produce food that is hygienic and safe for consumption.
